My buddy and I are planning on making our first all grain beer on friday. I have been doing lots of research on here and other sites, but I was wondering if anyone could send me a recipe with good detailed interactions for a first time brew. We have a brew shop locally that we can get all of our supplies from but they seem to cater a little bit more towards making it with extract. My biggest concern is missing steps and I thought that someone may have a good recipe with instructions already laid out. Thanks for the help.:mug:

About to embark on AG without a recipe. I would say you are not ready, but would not want to stop you.

Go do a simple Pale Ale: 9 lbs 2-row + 1 lb Crystal C60.

Make it a SNPA Clone with Cascade hops. 35 IBUs; 3 ozs @60, 1 ozs @ 10, 2 ozs @ 0.

Or try any other hop you have available.

^yep, what he said,,,maybe throw a half pound honey malt in there too....pitch with nottingham or us-05.....I am sipping pretty much this recipe and loving it too...

Thanks to all, I really appreciate the help. We have a good understanding of what we are doing, why we are doing it and what is happening. We just have never done it before. I believe we may try the recipe that Calder recommended. To Yooper, thanks for the offer I may take you up on that soon, but like sketerbuck recommended I will check out beersmith tonight. I would have already done it but I had to check out Walmart and all the craziness that was going on.
