So I've got all my ingredients and I'm doing my first ever partial mash tonight. Can't wait.

This is my bill:

6.6lbs British pale 2 row
1lbs British cara malt
2.2lbs light DME

1oz fuggles (60)
.5oz cascade (15)
.5oz cascade (5)
1oz cascade DRY HOP.

MASH at 152*f for 60 min

Batch size: 5.2 gallon

Boil size: 3.5 gallon

Approx brewhouse efficiency 71%

Final gravity 1.056.

Does this look ok or is there anything I need to change?

Looks fine apart from the fact that cascade is a distinctly american hop. Maybe swap to a more aromatic british hop like fuggles or goldings (east kent or whitbread). Is there a specific style or type of beer you're shooting for?

That's not to say this beer won't be tasty- it may not be distinctly british, though. What yeast will you be using?

Cheers for your input. I love the aromas of American ales. I live in the UK and its hard to get american 2 row. My LHBS doesn't supply it. I thought I would improvise and use British malt and American hops. Hope it turns out ok. If not then I've gained some experience.
