First original recipe 5 gallon batch

I am looking for ideas for my first original all grain 5 gallon batch (using BIAB.) I want to make a brown ale but I’m not sure where to start since all I’ve done thus far are recipe kits! Any ideas would be helpful!

My go to is:

8lbs Maris Otter
2 lbs Aromatic Malt
12 oz Special B
12 oz Cara 60L
12 oz Flaked Oats
4 oz Chocolate Malt

0.5 oz Columbus and Willamette at 60 minutes
1.5 oz Willamette at flame out

Wyeast 1056

I Mash it at 154F

Lots of malt flavor with some back side sweetness

Since were both in the Chicago area I also add 1 gram of calcium chloride to keep the pH in check but its probably minuscule for the recipe.
 
I love this brown ale recipe from my LHBS owner. I've done it with 1/4 bottle of hazelnut in 5g batch too. I've brewed it many times, always a hit.

4.0 oz Caramel/Crystal Malt -120L (120.0 SRM) 2.4 %
4.0 oz Chocolate Malt (350.0 SRM) 2.4 %
4.0 oz Honey Malt (25.0 SRM) 2.4 %
4.0 oz Victory Malt (25.0 SRM) 2.4 %
1.00 oz Williamette [5.50 %] - Boil 60.0 min
0.50 oz Williamette [5.50 %] - Boil 15.0 min
0.50 oz Williamette [5.50 %] - Boil 5.0 min
1.0 pkg Safale American (DCL Yeast #US-05)-

I can also vouch for Janet's brown if you want a hoppy style. Below is one that started out as a sort of kitchen sink brown, but it went over so well I keep brewing the same grainbill (this is for 3 gals). You could probably use regular chocolate in place of the pale + midnight wheat. I've made it with Willamette and EKG - using about an oz per 5 gals at 5 min and then whatever addition at 60 to get about 24-26 IBU's.

4 lbs 4.0 oz Maris Otter 74.8 %
8.0 oz Oats, Golden Naked 8.8 %
