First hard cider help

I've got 3 gallons fermenting in my basement. Its been going for 4 days with Lager yeast..

Im going to be out of town for 12 days, I'm wondering what I should do with it.

I was going to pull the airlock and cork it in my fridge while Im gone.
 
Is there a reason you cant just leave it in the fermentor, in the basement?
It will be perfectly happy there untill you return.
 
I can leave it.. No problem with that.
Its in a 5 gallon carboy. Theres a bit of headspace.
I leave this coming Saturday, so it'll be about 26 days in the fermenter.
Is that too long?
 
It'll be fine Just leaving it as is. Nothing wrong with a long primary
