On Monday I ordered some parts from kegconnection.com for my keeezer build and I just learned that the scheduled delivery date is May 11th!!! I guess I have gotten spoiled by Austin Home Brew getting me my orders in 3 days. I had assumed that I would have the parts by the weekend so that I could finish my keezer. Guess I'll have to finish it the following weekend. :(

I also was disappointed in the quality of the product I received from them on my last order.
I tried to contact them multiple times about the issue but they never responded. I won't order from them again.

That's very odd. I've ordered from them a couple of times and have had nothing but fast shipping and top notch service. I ordered a dual regulator from then and the high pressure gauge was not functioning properly and they had a replacement sent out immediately when I called them about it.

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble

I've ordered from them a couple times. Both times, they shipped quickly, and I was happy with the quality of the parts.

For email communication, it was pretty bad. I asked a few questions, got one reply that didn't answer the question I asked.

It ended up costing them some $$ in extra parts I ended up ordering from another vendor, but having said all that, I still am overall happy with their service.

I've been pleased with their service and products so far.
Ben has been very helpful!

Bull

i would suggest you get on the phone and call them. they dont seem to do so well with email service, but on the phone they are great to deal with.

I will give that a try. Being as it is already Thursday I doubt I can have my parts to work on my keezer for the weekend.

May 11th is 5 business days. Thats not bad at all.

Update - I called KG and since the item has already shipped there is nothing they can do at this point. Apparently you can not do expedited shipping via their web site, it needs to be handled over the phone prior to shipping. Although this is disappointing, I guess I'll just chalk it up to lessons learned.

I agree. I would consider 3 days shipping the exception, not the rule. To simply assume that everybody ships that fast is a bit much. If it was that important to have the parts this weekend, you should have confirmed the shipping times. Many vendors are willing to rush an order, if you ask.

Quick response to email inquiries and prompt delivery. And no problem with the quality of the product. You won’t here any complaints from me.

The moral of the story is to deal with the vendor directly. They are willing to work with you. If there is a problem that cannot be resolved, then it can be posted here. I think it's important that we share experiences with vendors, but we also need to give them a chance to make things right. I have NEVER received anything from austinhomebrew.com in less than a week, but I also don't expect it. If I needed something by a certain date, I'd call to make sure it would be shipped in time. This sounds more like a miscommunication than an actual problem.

I'm closing this thread, because the issue has been talked about and resolved.
