Hi folks,
Two days ago I picked up a Barons Pale Ale kit with all the equipment required. I followed the instructions but may have added the yeast in at a little too high of temperature (80F). The temperature kept rising after that so I put my primary fermentation bucket in a cold bath and it lowered the temp which now sits at about 65F. Will the initial high temp. While adding the yeast ruin the beer? Also it's starting the fermentation and looks like a light brown with some dark green? Could this be the hops pellets? I can post a picture tomorrow. Thanks for you help everyone!
