Hello everyone!
I'm sat here drinking my first brew in decades and although it tastes fine it's not very fizzy.
I purposely erred on the conservative side when bottling but think I might have overdone it.
Ah well.
Next time I'll put a bit more in.

Correct?

:mug:

(Guiness-a- like,btw).

bit more....sugar? how much did you add?

also, what kind of sugar/extract did you use?

i have a newfound hatred for corn sugar and won't put it in anything i brew, drink, or eat.

For the brew it was pale malt (ground by me)and dark roast.
For the priming of the bottles (Grolsch 'beugels') I used standard white sugar.
1 small 'spice' spoon (maybe less than ½ tspn) per bottle (0.45ltr).

The OG was a bit low so I thre a load of dark brown sugar in and some white just to be sure.Went from 1042ish to 1008 in less than 2½ days....should have been 3 to 4....
