Well after weeks of researching and gathering equipment I made my first BIAB batch last night - a SNPA clone recipe kit. Awesome fun and i learnt a lot as I went - like almost forgetting to put my chiller in the wort to sanitise while it was boiling! Anyway thanks to everyone on the forum for all the knowledge that is shared as I definitely couldn't have done it otherwise!View attachment ImageUploadedByHome Brew1442631907.444035.jpg

Noice. Judging from the brewshop sticker and your name you're from NZ. Where did you get the burner from? I couldn't find a good one nearby so ended up getting a blichmann off brewshop.

Sure am. Check out brewtopia.net.nz they have quite a few burners and gear. I also got the recipe pack from there. They are very helpful and also reasonably priced

No need to sanitize your chiller, the boil will do that pretty instantly. Just make sure it's clean of debri.

How was your brew day?
Get your og, and volume accurate?

Yes I put it in the boil to sanitise but almost forgot. OG was fairly close at 1.054 but boiloff was a bit more than expected so I guess my efficiency is a bit lower. No biggie though it's still going to be beer.
