Haha! After five and a half hours unpacking, cooking, and cleaning I have just gotten my first beer ever under way!
I have made mead wine and cider before but this is my first batch of beer. I am very excited.
I would like to say thank you to the folks who gave me advice on temp range for yeast. (BTW ended up moving things around so I could put my brew in my bedroom, partially thanks to DeRoux's encouragement.
) And I would also like to say thank you to everyone for all of their advice posted here within these forums, it helped me more than the books i have on the subject (mostly because the forums are organized to where even I can navigate them lol.).
Just figured I'd share that, now its off to bed. (and dreams of Irish Red Ale filling my glass).
