Hey guys. I just bought all my supplies and my first batch last week. I got the Coopers Canadian blonde to start off easy. The lady in the brew store said add the kit, 1kg of dextrose, and kit yeast to the pail and ferment. I picked up another 200g of dextrose for priming and bottling. After reading on here and howtobrew.com I think I shouldn't have done so much sugar and no DME. What should I expect from this batch (if all goes well)? Will it taste lighter? Take more or less time to ferment? Be stronger or weaker alcohol %? Thanks all.
