First batch, concerned.

Does my newly formed scoby look normal? I am worried about the rings in it. It does not appear fuzzy, but what is it and what is causing it?

Yeah, it is the cicular patterns with "veins" that concern me. The original scoby I received from a friend sank to the bottom and the new scoby looks like that....
