Well, Today I took the plung into the all grain reality. I was about out of beer and personally was not real happy with the extracts that I have been making so wanted to try my hand at all grain. I am a bit of a DIYer so went got some CPVC and a cooler to make my Mash tun, then went to the hardware store and made the cooler. I decided to try Ed Wort's Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale for my first recipe since he himself stated it was an easy brew. I made a couple of mods to the hops due to the LHBS being out of cascade hops but over all same recipe.

I was impressed to find that I got the OG of 1.051 on the first try:ban: . Now the waiting begins to see how this baby turns out, but from original inspection, I think this beer will be a main stay.:mug:
