I'm trying my first all grain batch ( 2 hearted clone ) in a few days. I plan on putting all of my grains in a bag in one of my kettles that has a spigot and sparging that way. Once x-mas is over I'm gonna make a cooler style mash tun. Any advise on this first all grain batch?

Search out the terms "BIAB" and "brew in a bag" on this forum before you start. You may not want to sparge by the time you finish reading and you might even rethink the cooler mash tun. Best of luck to your brew.

I would agree with RM-MN on this one because the BIAB process is very straight forward and simple to do, and pretty efficient! I prefer to fly sparge, but thats just personal preference. My advise would be to make sure that you have a good thermometer for your mash temp.
