I'm building a mash tun out of a cooler. Have any of you tried the bazooka screen as a manifold/false bottom? If so, is it worth it?

I have el bazooka. Excellent. Never had a stuck sparge. Others swear by the false bottom.

I made my own stainless braid using FlyGuy's design (see previous post). Cheap and easy to make, works quite well. Just make sure you buy stainless steel supply lines from Lowe's (HomeDepot has plastic that looks like stainless).
