first 3 brews

These are the labels for my first three brews. My brewery is called Old School Brewing Co. so I am going with the school theme for all the names.

I like 'em! I have to say, the last one sorta stresses me out. C+ is my favorite of the three. Simple and clear and funny.

What did you use for your label software?

Adobe Photoshop, I use it for everything its a great program.

are those photo's done with Gaussian (sp?) blur? I like that effect...

they look good---but make sure to correct the spelling of "chocolate" on the first one---and I'd also add a little more art effect to the last photo---even consider calling either "midterm madness" OR "allnighter IPA", but not both. It's a mouthful.

Its called cutout I believe. It has a variety of options in it that allow you to change the color range and edge fidelity and stuff.

SWMBO hasnt spell checked yet.

The labels look good I agree with either Midterm Madness or Allnighter IPA, but not both. I like the allnighter IPA

Midterm Maddness would be a great name for a Barley Wine.

I think I'll change it to Allnighter IIPA its really a IIPA even though it was as strong as I wanted it has a ridiculous amount of hops.

My Barleywine is gonna be Schoolyard Bully Barleywine I'll be brewing it sometime next week.

WTF is SWMBO?!

That's "She Who Must Be Obeyed." I read it in a FAQ somewhere here.

You can get the kind of effects shown on these labels with the Posterize effect, also.
