Firmzilla question (pressure kit)

Can someone help me? (See attached) I have broke 2 lids by over tightening the ball lock caps. I can't get it to seal without leaking. I normally test it with pressure around 10psi and try an tighten by hand at 1st... but it still leaks. So I lightly use a wrench. But it never seals... I back off try again but end up breaking the lid/ridges where the cap connects..... I think there is supposed to be an Oring in the stainless one? But I don't see anything. I ordered another plastic cap. Maybe only using plastic will work. this is my 3rd lid and don't want to break it again.... uggghhh. If there is an orange. Does anyone know what to buy?

My last IPA tastes oxidation. I'm blaming this problem.

The ball lock post in the first pic is missing the rubber seal that sits inside to create a good seal.

Just looked at one of mine and it almost looks like a garden hose seal may work.

They sent me these, but they look like the gaskets that go on the top/out of the cap. Too small for inside/underneath... what the heck. I ordered the ones in the link. Did they send the wrong thing?

the ones in the picture almost look like the gasket you would find in a ball/ pin lock in the top. its flat and keeps the gas or liquid from leaking out of the threads.

Exactly. I think they sent me the wrong thing. On the discription it says it goes inside (link above). I'll email them.
