Firkin!?

I has wondering if anyone could guide me into the right direction of how to make a firkin type of setup. i have been to a couple of local breweries around the area have had the option of having a brew off the firkin. thought this might be a nice addition to the homebrew bar but don't really see much info on how to make there own on the net? any help?

make your own firkin? i know ukbrewing.com sells them for a good price.

What do you mean by a "Firkin setup"? You can use firkins either connected to a beer engine or set up on the bar for gravity dispense (which is simpler). I use both methods but if you let us know how you want to use them and I'll try and help.
