I have a bunch of firestone kegs that have been sitting in my basement forever and it’s been years since they have been used. After cleaning them properly and probably replacing the o-rings on all of them is it a good idea to replace the poppet valves as well or is this unnecessary? Also, I'm not quite sure which type of keg they are. They are pin lock kegs but they are model F. They don't have a challenger type stamped on the side.

If the poppets seem in good shape and the kegs hold pressure when no lines are attached, they probably don't need to be replaced.
