So it looks like I may be traveling to Finland in a couple weeks.

Anyone out there know anything about Finnish beers?
 
Look for Koff porter, as well as Sahti. For a completely different beverage experience, pick up a bottle of Salmiakki. Lastly, eat at Zetor at least once while you're in Helsinki (unless you happen to be a thin-skinned Swede :D ).

Sounds good. I had done a search and came up with Sahti. Will look for that. And that Koff Porter looks like it should be good.

Wikipedia states that most traditional Finnish beers are pale lagers. Guess it makes sense since it seems like it would be pretty stinking cold there.:eek:
