I told myself that I would invest all my fantasy sports winnings this year (expected 0) in my keggorator project.... well... it looks like im running away with my baseball title. and the 600$ prize will be a nice start!

4 Faucet Refrigerator Conversion Kit, 4 kegs

is this everything i need? other than beer of course. and I already have 5 extra kegs! oh yeah, I have a fridge... and once i get some more money, Ill gonna by a nice freezer and hook it up! but for now....

:mug:

Since you have the extra cash, I would trade off the standard faucets for Perlicks (Forward Sealing, Non-Sticking).

You also might want to consider a temperature controller for the fridge.

Definitely get perlicks instead. I've heard nothing but annoyance about the standard faucets.

Not much else to say. You need everything in that kit, plus a fridge and temperature controller. Swapping out the standard faucets for perlicks would be a huge plus.

ok. well maybe ill order during lunch or so.... (if i get a lunch)

Well, since you apparently haven't ordered anything yet, let me add another +1 for the Perlicks. You'll appreciate those faucets long after you're forgotten the few dollars extra you paid for them.

Now go forth and buy.

If you are going to get Perlicks(4 @ 125.00) then don't get that kegconnection kit. In our classified there's a guy selling regulator, you already have some kegs, just get the faucets and co2 tank(and hoses). Way cheaper than 450.00. You can always pick up kegs as you go. Maybe we can get another pallet of kegs, I could use 3 more. Charlie

It Came It Came!!!!!!

Did it come in "de plane, de plane!"?

What did you end up ordering? And we're getting very close to the point where this thread will be meaningless without pictures, so get the camera ready for a progress report.

EDIT - LOL Yooper. Guess we thought of the picture thing at the same time. Goes to show how much we love pictures of other people's stuff I guess. :)

My threads never have any meaning anyways!

Ill take some pics tonight! of the stuff. and hopefully I can start drilling tongiht! yay!

Someone want to let me know how to post pics? Then I can explain my most epic fail of epic fails!

(good thing I budgeted for this!)

Since I don't have the money to support yet, I use Photobucket. That way, I can copy the HTML, and when I go to post I click the
insertimage.gif

button and paste the HTML.

Since you are a lifetime supporter, you should be able to upload them to your picture gallery on your profile page (To post them to a thread them is the same as above, I think). Hope this helps!

Also, hope it wasn't too big of a mess up.. Kind of curious

Anyone can check them out in your gallery now (going to look after this post), but to post them, right click on the picture you want and click on 'copy image location'. Go to your post, and where you see the little picture icon
insertimage.gif
you can click, paste the URL you copied, and it will post the image.

Looks like it will be a nice setup- I'd get rid of the shelves on the bottom, or reinforce it. two, let alone four full kegs will be pretty heavy on that plastic ;-)

hmm... well thats odd sizing!

So heres the story!

Measured my freinds fridge (5 kegs) and said! wow, thats the same size as my fridge, I can fit 5 kegs! yay!

problem is.... freinds fridge is not from 1960, ergo the walls in my fridge are 5X as thick (or so) and the 4 kegs DONT FIT!

EPIC FAIL!

Good thing I have been researching freezers, to upgrade.... I was gonna wait till I got my tax return.... but at this point, there is no point! ill order today, or Tuesday at work!

Just a minor delay :(

If you're talking chest freezer, the whirlpool 8.9 ($187 from Lowes) fits 5 cornies and a 5# bottle. It's what I have, and seems a pretty popular model on these forums.
