Sorry I missed that
He paid his check, just sat there for like 20min not doing anything and then boom! All over the end of the bar and himself...

Lord knows we have plenty of honey out here. Could be really cool. It's a great spot for it.
Where the **** is Elburn?
Just looked it up on Maps. I've never heard of most of the towns surrounding it either. Apparently it's somewhat close to Aurora, which doesn't even really have a Stan Mikita's Donuts.I drive through it every day on the way to work. It's far.
I'll also be the party pooper who has doubts that it will be worth the drive for most. I want so badly to like Lodi because it's the closest craft beer bar to me but they have some serious service speed issues. I am 99% confident that their approach is to cook each meal start-to-finish before moving on to the next ticket. Every time I've gone, merely getting food is an hour+ ordeal.
That and their beer board is full of Cademon-tier contenders most of the time. I get that their schtick is to only do IL breweries but they seem to think it's also their responsibility to serve as much basement-brewery no-name beer as they possibly can. There are always things on tap that would easily lose to Busch Light in a taste test.
Wait. Is it a possibility they are starting a meadery without ever having made mead before?I heard about the mead stuff from a bar manager a few months back. It’ll be interesting to see how they do. I’ll try and get samples. Hopefully he’s made something already.
They went to the AMMA conference and still wanted to get into mead. That shocked the **** out of me. It would have made me run far far away.Wait. Is it a possibility they are starting a meadery without ever having made mead before?
That's not a good sign.
Elburn is the last stop of the Metra west line. It's the new where-you-get-woken-up-when-you've-passed-out from a south side Irish parade.Where the **** is Elburn?
I have no idea. I’ll ask around next time I’m at Lodi.Wait. Is it a possibility they are starting a meadery without ever having made mead before?

Unclear if this is replacing Daisy Cutter (no great loss if you ask me) for forever, this year or not at all.
The Marz taproom is real and it's spectacular... #chuglife
It's not replacing, it's a special run in the same vain as a DDC, Galaxy DDC, etc..
Honestly, I think a couple people already said it, but Capra was not my jam as far as the hop element.

bold claim for what google tells me is a week old beer, is it in cans and avail yet? i'd brag about this new lovely pils I made with a neipa water profile that is an easy drinkin light lager/pils crusher hybrid but i dont wanna sound like steven seagal talking about the best screenplay he's ever read.hotellife>chuglife and yeah in before “what the **** is a hailstorm”

With the lil belgo yeast and Amarillo it still has some traditional Belgian pale qualities & bitterness, just enough to piss off the haze’rs who want no yeast or bitterness to their bro beer. Good luck on the resistance, but haze bros in MAGA hats are #winning.I'll have you know we've blown through a keg and half of Sells Out Denali in like, 4 days and i still refuse to try it.
#resist

Owning the beer conversation on CCBE, trade groups and other sites as well as shaping the industry to one of haze and unfermented chocolate. I mean when looking for money to open brewpub, majority of questions...will you make more stouts, will you make more IPA’s. It ****** sucks, I wish I could make dry hopped Brett and other weird **** but then I look at a dumb IPA that sold 15 barrels in one week. Industry weird, just tryin to stay slightly weird while selling out...like a major label debut from Ween.Plenty of things that are popular arent good, not saying there isnt a place for Haze, but Taylor Swift sells more albums than anyone sells NEIPA.
So what are these bros really winning at?
