I guess it's a differing opinion but like I tasted it in large groups from cans and literally a friend just ordered it on tap at paddy longs 2 hours ago and everyone agreed there's something quite off with it. But I'm down to nerf duel too

I like it...dunno what else to say except agree to disagree?

Then again, I do have two of those old SuperSoaker 3000's that needed a backpack of water to operate...

Epidomy of Chicago's #NewMoney ?

-12 bottles of Hailstorm whatever - check
- 23 bottles of Wild Peach - check
- 26 bottles of Upland sours - check
- etc etc

Apologize if this IG account already been mentioned. If it's one of you. Shame on you
I've seen this IG acct and been more curious about the location for a lot of those shots.
Please don't tell me that a majority of these bottles are entering a storage locker for "cellaring". FFS. Please. No.

Ah, yes. The infamous storage locker cellar.

Pipeworks Abduction variants too?

You guys are slippin..

****. Forgot those.

I'd say Abduction variants are a step up from that other stuff because even though they usually aren't great, they at least have some following/reputation in the broader online beer world. I wouldn't even know about things like Dino S'mores, Hunter, and Big Hugs, and more specifically the #newmoney clamor for it, if I wasn't in CCBE and/or reading you guys mock it in this thread.

I had Destihl's Blackberry Berliner at Sheffields last week, really hope they can that one.
The Here Gose Nothin' is available year-round. The other styles are released seasonally. Flanders Red is available fall/winter, Counter Clockweisse will be released in March and Lynnbrook will be released in June.

Paddy Longs? Did that used to Lawrys in early 2000s? If so, them feels. Many times I snuck in there to drink after I got off at Diversey but before I wanted to go home.

To be honest, the 2 places I've found have great temperature control and level, humidity control, and some pretty reasonable rates.

It's not ideal, for certain. But I have too much beer to keep at my house and I can't keep sending it down to the South Suburbs. The travel doesn't work for me anymore and it's a better solution than I currently have.

All that said, I am not, have not, and will never be on that bro's level. Nothing like posing beers on a floor in a storage facility's hallway for cred.

Best I've found is Strongbox (North Center). I pay ~$360 per year for, I think, a 24 case locker. Spacious enough to split two or three ways.

I had Abraxas on draft at the Trenchermen this morning, I think it was $11 a pour. I only drank half the snifter, but ya know #newmoney...

I remember stumbling across this instagram before. Check out the posts on the DLD glassware haul, he brings up 'entitlement' and 'work ethic' and lolz will be had.

edit: it's auto-embedding the pic, just click on the pic for the posts

Do you think anyone ever goes there to put like an old antique or something into their storage unit only to turn the corner and see this knucklehead taking pictures of beer and furiously jerking it? I bet it's weird.

Hahaha. I was thinking the same exact thing. Guy makes other people carefully walk around this castle o' bottles.
