Someone estimated 300 people before 11. Half Acre cut the allocation to four and still on the verge of selling out soon.

I seriously think CCBE is a driving force behind all the new money terds mucking up the scene. Gone are the days you stumble upon something awesome on tap at a bar and text your good drinking buddies or walking into Goose and seeing vintage bottles for consumption because one of those ***** will have it posted on Facebook and the masses will have it cleared out before most of us can blink twice.

No surprise, really.

I bet Eclipse variants sell out this year too.

Half Acre at the moment. Word is allocation down to two.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Are there any limited releases that are super awful? I'd love to see CCBE go bananas for something like that.

Coffee Eugene > Big Hugs

Why you'd wait in line more than 15min for a very mediocre at best beer is beyond me.
I think Founders Breakfast Stout tastes notably better than Big Hugs the last few years, and that **** it on shelves at the gas station near me. Makes no sense to me.

The newest in the Voodoo series has all the makings of a hyped beer besides the taste. Fancy bottle, check; Collab with some hip bakery, check; Crazy ingredients, check; Started off as a brewery only release until we didn't hype it enough, check, check, check...

If we can get the CCBE to buy this by the case, we've done our job.

PS: In case you were wondering why I picked this series, well, you mentioned bananas:
