Honestly, it's not worth tracking down. Couldn't finish a sample at Revolution...

For a counter opinion I think it is by far the best of the Gene series so far (only Georgia Gene and E Norma Gene comes close for me).

However, I don't think anything is worth tracking down these days...

Meaning the gene series is that bad or blue gene is actually decent? I mean, I liked bene gene, but though blue gene was one of the worst beers I drank in the past year.

Totally agree though, nothing is really worth tracking down any longer. I'd rather just get what I can get at my local spots and buy the rest on the secondary market.....

Tonight at 9: some people like things that others dislike.

I think the Gene series on draft has been fantastic, but some of the bottled offerings have left something to be desired. Having said that, I thought Blue Gene was the best variation of a series I enjoy.

Luckily I've only dipped my toes into the secondary market as that would be an expensive way to enjoy this hobby.

They actually found a few cases at the brewery this morning and had them for sale as of about 3:30 ... they didn't have many so I can't say for sure but it's worth a shot.

If I would have seen this earlier I could have probably picked one up and brought it to the Transient release on Sunday. That store is on my way home from work though and won't be going out that way before Sunday. If I find it anywhere else I can pick one up, but I haven't seen it around my house lately.

Maybe? Sadly, can't even tell if this is ******** or not with the state of things these days.
