Beer sucks.

I thought about taking a drive out there. Glad I didn't. Wouldn't have made it.

If you feel like going on huge bender before FOBAB 4Hands tweeted out they are bringing some stuff to a pre-FOBAB party at Maria's Wednesday, November 12th.

Binny's Buffalo Grove got Darkness in. I thought, "Cool, I'll head over during lunch in 45 minutes." Got there, guy was like "lol, gone in 20 minutes."

Hey Chi Friends -

I'll be in town this weekend for the Bulls home opener and was hoping for suggestions as to places to go around the United Center. Any places on Madison or are the spots on Randolph the best places to go? I don't mind the loop, however I want somewhere that's a straight shot to the UC via a cab. The area in the southwest part of the loop was not particularly popular when I lived in the city, so any info would be appreciated.

Also, I'm probably going to stick around until Monday or Tuesday, so let me know if any events are going on or if anyone wants to watch the Bucks vs. Illini;).

Cheers and thanks much for any help.

I'll also be at the game. If you are wearing anything cavs related be prepared to be yelled at and boo'ed most of the game.

For suggestions Haymarketis awesome, lone wolf, little goat diner. Au chevel. Tons of awesome places in that area really.

Thanks. Haymarket looks good. I actually believe that I may have been there once after eating at the girl and the goal last year. FWIW, I like the Chicago professional teams, so I'll be cheering for the bulls.

I think Haymarket provides a free shuttle to the UC as well? Does anyone know if that's just for Hawks games?
Check out Green Street Smoked Meats as well, if you're in the mood for BBQ. It's right at Green and Randolph. Not as good as Smoque, but still damn good and a solid taplist. There's also a ramen place right there I've been meaning to go to.

The Twisted Spoke is the join that has half price whiskey one night a week, right? I was trying to think of the name of that spot. Thanks. I may check it out. I'll be with my dad who lives between Hopleaf and Half Acre, so we probably won't be out too late, but may hit one or two spots after the game. Worst case, he goes to sleep and I go to Hopleaf. Thanks again for the suggestions, I appreciate the info.

I may be around at Hopleaf this weekend. Holler at me if you end up there and i'll buy ya a beer.

We pretty much already knew it, but confirmation is always nice. Tweeted by the ICBG. I'll be spending my hour early entry plopped right in front of this booth like last year.

Goose Island Beer Co. will be pouring their 2014 ‪#‎BCS‬ series at ‪#‎FoBAB‬ this year, before ‪#‎BlackFriday‬. They may even pour some oldies as well as some obscure sours. I had to tickle it out of them. ‪#‎yourwelcome‬
