I didn't really like the base all that much. And priced somewhere around $15-17 (I'm assuming), no thanks.
Yup, $15. Probably better ways to spend the money but... well, definitely better ways to spend the money. Maybe I won't pick it up after all.

More info, too, that's easier to read than the label - The Coqui is our Batata Obscura Sweet Potato Porter brewed with coconut, cinnamon, vanilla bean and clove that we aged in Flor de Cana rum barrels for 8 months.

Is Stuka Pils on at the Tap Room? I'd like to try it, but there haven't been any check-ins for it there on untappd since the Oktoberfest party. The new beer announcement on Wed said it was on tap at both places and I'd always rather go to the Tap Room vs the Brewpub.

Don't know if it is still on or not but Stuka is pretty damn good. Drank a couple at Oktoberfest and really liked it. But I like pils more than many beer people, especially when having a session like that. Looking forward to more.

More Transient beers hitting the market. Capone's just posted that they have Wayward (Citra/Amarillo Brett pale), Peur (Brett beer), and Chardonnay Obelus. Interesting that one of the limited Reserve Society beers (C.O.) is hitting shelves. Doesn't bother me any, but it might some folks. I've got 2 bottles and wouldn't have bought any more than that. I threw a bottle of Peur in the fridge last night. Hoping to get to it this weekend. Hope I get to try Wayward at some point. No plans to be near Chicago any time soon.

Also, on the note of a reserve society beer being distro'd I don't mind at all. Anyone of us had ample opportunity to go down and pick up more the weekend of the 21st. After a members only party and a second selling Chris can do what he pleases with the unsold product.

It's a hell of a start for Transient. Can't wait to see him refine it a little. Don't mind dropping $8 for this style at all.
Check out Peur while you're at it too. It should only get better in the bottle.
So glad Beer Temple got the bottle account too.

Live in the middle of nowhere, but will hunt some down whenever I find myself in the city again. Been wanting me some Transient for the hottest of minutes.

I'm not sure myself, but maybe someone else knows how long Beer Temple would hold an online order? You can order them right from their site and pre-pay and hopefully they'll hold them for you till you down there.
If not, let me know. I'm sure I'll have extras of both if you're ever around the Oak Forest area.

This one's pretty good. And not a bad deal at around $16 a four pack.

Wild Onion makes good beer? Hot damn.

I probably have a little bit of a blind spot for the place because I had my wedding there, but i like it. I'll buy Hop Slayer every now and again but that's about it. Not a bad place to go for a some food and a few beers, though. I can shove that calamari into my wordhole all day long.

You're in Oak Forest? Why haven't we gotten together at Blarney Stone for carbombs and punched each other out yet?

Got to try the Gravedigger Billy yesterday, at Beerhoptacular. Very nice.

If it ages as gracefully as Deth's Tar, I think it's worth a spot in the cellar.

The best Eugene variation, followed by Georgia. I'm very excited for bottles of Boy Gene, but Georgia was something else...
You are right! Forget Goose's 'Three [or 4 or 5 or however many they're up to' Sisters' - let's see a whole lineup of Revolutions Eugene variations - Boy Gene, Blue Gene, Georgia Gene. Why not use Loganberrys for another Gene variation?

Unsessionable may not be the biggest hop bomb, but damn, what a smooth 10% brew. Perfect for cans, IMO.
