Cool gif. Sorry I have a 3 month old and a 2 year old at home. I'll try to be a more absentee father so I can raise my ABV game and gain a bunch of weight.

I have beer 1-2 times per week. Should I close my account? Do I not drink enough to be allowed opinions? I'll hang up and take my answer off the air.
You mean you don't take your kids to line up at releases with you?

You just don't get what retail priced BCBS variants do to us FIBs...it's like some force that pulls us towards whatever place is offering it. There's no fighting it.

I'm the second guy that posted on that same comment thread asking about bottle limits per beer, while I feel the force, if they are gonna let some guy come in and clean them out then I'm not gonna bother showing up until later. I'm thinking the first person in line, if they truly have no limit, will be there at 6 am ish. They can have it

I was being 101% facetious. I can easily fight the "force" since, you know, it's Local Option and barring some mankind ending armageddon, there will most definitely be some insane line. And even then, if there is only a single FIB left on earth, they will probably still line up for that Vanilla.
Even if they were offering bottles for free, I would not consider going down there.

Sucks for all you FIBs, I'm already first in line. I got here last night at 9:45pm. And have $5k in cash to buy all the BCBS.

I probably won't. Logic will win out in the end. However, if I did, it would likely be to get a pour of Hawaiian Speedway and some Creole wings.

I think the event is already f*cked, but I would really like a non-FIB to fan the flames even more by being the one to let CCBE know.

Thanks in advance JulianB

To get back generally on topic, hey middlebrow when did you start brewing at Church Street? Not that I purchase your products and read the labels or anything. Just wondering.
When 1090 shut down and started moving. I imagine we'll be using both and maybe a third spot too in 2016. it kinda sucks driving all over but rich uncles refuse to die and Chicago real estate & laws suck for the lil dudes. If all else fails by end of 2016, were gonna open a little craft beer bar in the city and brew in the boonies.

That's city-speak for the suburbs, right?

Aaaaaand I had no idea 1090 was moving. Oops.

Some of the numbers on that chart are way off, some are not.

Let's agree to disagree :). FWIW Josh Deth went on the record saying the numbers looked good with the exception of the yeast costs - which we purposely estimated to be a new pitch every time.

Anyway, it is what it is. To hear the full story, which addresses the bulk of what was mentioned above, listen to the Insiders Roundtable podcast episodes 16,17, and 20. We discussed our methods at length.

Also FWIW, Goose representatives reached out to us and specifically mentioned that they didn't think the exercise was a calculated slamming of GI.

Just to report in, I never made it up there. Asked how long the line was a few hours before it opened and got an answer of 10ish. In the words of the great philosopher sweet Dee Brown "ain't no buddy got time for that"

Any chance you guys could calculate the financial impact of what this Bourbon County Coffee fiasco could cost them?
