Received this info via Off Color's mailing list yesterday:

Do you like beer? Do you like good food? Do you like mountain lions? Well, if you like 2 out of the previous 3 items, come meet us tomorrow [today now] at Owen & Engine (2700 N Western Ave, Chicago) for a tapping of a special firkin from Off Color as well as a super awesome firkin from our friends at Penrose Brewing. We're calling it "You're Firking Kidding Me AKA A Tale of Two Firkins." But you can call it "Fun." We'll be getting there around 6. See ya there...

Also, we'll be doing a tap takeover at Scofflaw starting the week of December 15th. They will have Troublesome, Scurry, Fierce, Biere De Guard Dog, and Dinosmores on draft. So come drink it... Yay, beer!!!

You mean *yet more* states? I was in Virginia in November and it was sad that I saw Finch's but... no one else from Chicago.

That being said, if the tap room looks anything like the renderings? I'll be there. I'll suffer through the double-headed Chimera and that vanilla stout (which really aren't bad!) over the trip it takes me to get down to Lagnunitas.

Looked at the pictures a few times over. Damn, this place looks kinda cool and huge.

I wonder which brewery this is? Scans around for missed information in the post. Why didn't middlebrow name the brewery?

This whole time I thought our scene's rep was bad because of our truck chasing and root beer line ups and variant hording and yelling at Walgreens employees to sell me that beer.

I can't find a single write up about this plan except for on Finch's site. They never actually say where they plan to place this brewery. Have they bought land already or is this just a pipe dream? And are they really making that much money that they need a new brewery?

NICE! I am glad the cat is finally out the bag, I know Michelle has been working hard on this for a while now and it's been kind of a secret. You guys won't be disappointed, especially since I have an agreement to work the door for 2hrs every other Saturday with a 30min break...

I talked to 2 folks in the know and Superior is getting one sixtel of Founders CBS. If you're in or near the Fox Valley area, you've basically got one shot at this beer without traveling. Stay tuned for time and location. Pretty sure it won't be soon.

Rumors abound about another Backstage Series favorite also being brewed again too.
