If he autodrafted, though, and everyone else knows their top picks, we can extrapolate fairly well who WOULD have been picked for him based on the Yahoo! rankings.

Damn, I thought it was just Boston and I who bugged out last night. If we've got three people (or more) who autodrafted, then I don't see how we'll be able to re-create the player lists. I'm leaning towards a re-draft, and probably doing it after this week's games.

You wouldn't have been able to see anything.

As soon as the draft was done, the window closed down and that was the last chance anyone had to look at the results.

I only wrote mine down because my wife wanted to know how the draft went.

yeah, well digging through the scrap heap would give you a better team that you had last night! I remember saying in the chat how bad your team sucked- you must have ranked every player just behind the ones we already picked. Each one of your picks was bad, IIRC!

As much as I would like to, I don’t think we’re going to be able to cobble together last night’s draft by the end of today. So, being Commissioner, I’m going to make an executive decision and hope everyone is ok with it.

I will get home at about 10 CT tonight. When I get home, I will join HBT chat. If there are 7 or more league people there (similar to last night’s draft), we will hold the draft manually and I will enter the names myself.

If we don’t have 7 people there, we will skip this week’s scoring and draft at 8:30 CT on the 11th.

Yes, I know it sucks, but I don’t think there are any better options considering the timeframe we’re dealing with here.

Edit- rdwj- that sounds good to me. I'll try to be awake at 10:30 tonight since I don't want to lose a week but I'm not hopeful that it'll work. As much as I hate to lose a week, I think that might be the only fair thing.

We'll use the best player available option and work together to make sure we have all the slots filled on those teams. There is no way we'll get %100 participation no matter what we do.

Besides, I doubt we'll get 7 people there tonight anyway.

In my opinion, the only way to make this 'fair' at this point is to totally do an auto-draft and clear out everyone's pre-rankings. That puts EVERYONE on level playing field.
