Hello all,
I'm trying a different yeast strain and doing a "sort of bohemian Pilsner". When I say sort of its because I can only get my FV down to 7 degrees for the lagering stage.

I primary fermented to the desired gravity then moved it to another FV to "lager" 14 days.

Question:Will this yeast strain survive the 14 days at 7 degrees so I can bottle carbonate? Or will I have to add a little more yeast when bottling with my dextrose? Has anyone had any experience with it?

Thanks,

It will be fine. I just bottled a bacth with s-189 that had been at 1 degree celsius for 4 weeks. There will be sufficient suspended yeast but will take longer than ales or batches not lagered
