Was looking around online for 775 yeast for upcoming cider season and saw Fermentis Safcider.

Anyone tried this yet?

It looks like the same yeast strain as Lalvin EC-1118 (Saccharomyces bayanus I think?). I have only used 1118 for my ciders and love the resulting dry cider. This looks like it will do the same but for 4x the price. Might be worth a try though.

Info I found........

Saccharomyces Bayanus

Produces excellent ciders of all types make from apple or other fruit
•Ferments well even under difficult conditions
•Works in a wide temperature range (50 to 86F)
•Works well in acidic wines down to 3.3pH
•Specially selected yeast from the Champagne region

I'll give one a shot and see what it does.

well, ec-1118, definitely does show listed as Saccharomyces cerevisiae bayanus and safcider says Saccharomyces bayanus*), so they're probably very similar. both listed as being from the champagne region. low nitrogen requirements, which is probably why I don't get Rhino farts with ec1118 for Cider, and probably the same for safcider.
