IPA... I put my wort into the fermenting bucket Thursday last week. I have water in my air lock and is at the line. I just now took a temp reading and it says 70 degrees. My questions are did I do something wrong? And should I put it into the carboy? Is there something else I should do? First time doing any of this. Please give any advice.

Use your hydrometer and take a reading. The beer sounds finished, but it's hard to say without a hydrometer reading.

Ok thank you. In the directions it says to use a secondary fermenter (carboy) I have read a lot and people are saying not to. What should I do?

Really no need to transfer to another carboy. The only time I do is when I'm dry hopping. This is a great time to take notes on your current batch. Note all your observations along with things you think you may change with your next batch. You learn so much from looking over your notes later to help you brew a quality beer.
