Fermenter

I just purchased a FastFerment 7.9 gal conical. Anyone else have any experience with temperature control in regards to this fermenter?

I am considering building a plywood stand and using a dorm fridge / freezer but the conical is a bit on the tall side.

Thoughts?

I bought a used True refrigerator, GDM-26 I believe. This will fit 2 of them easily. I believe there are wine fridges that would fit 1 perfectly. Mini fridge will not work, you need about 36" of clearance.

I just spent 3 weeks checking craigslist until I found what I wanted. I was considering building a custom insulated box for it attached to a sealed off mini fridge or A/C unit. I'm glad I didn't have to!

I was right there with you. I have been looking a the the son of Fermenter plans for a few weeks now. I'm glad to hear someone found something that will fit it.
