fermentation?

when you ferment you do it two times ones with your stuff in the batch and one time with the stuff strained out right? i am not sure of the words..... any help would be good.

Generally, with extract brewing, the only thing in the boiled wort is hops. Just strain it out and ferment.

Go to www.howtobrew.com and read the chapter on getting started. That will give you the vocabulary & basics.
