I made a Belgian Ale and noticed after my yeast was really doing its thing for about 24 hours that my room temperature went over 84 degrees. It must have been warm for about 8 hours or so. My yeast is not doing too much of anything now. Did I ruin it?

Most Belgian yeasts enjoy the top end of their fermentation range. If you're able to get your room temperature back down 75-80°, that will help once the yeast kick off, fermentation is an exothermic reaction so the fermenter will rise in temperature on its own.
