I'm on day 9 of fermenting a batch of True Brew American Wheat. Seems to be going along quite nice. Small bubbles in the airlock and every 10 to 20 minutes a little burp (for lack of better terminology). Anyway it's in a 12'X14' room, I'm just wondering what the room should smell like. Bread baking, beer, or a fart. This room smells a little more like a fart (and it wasn't me). Is this normal or do I have a bad batch?

Different yeasts can produce different smells. Hard to tell - let it finish out and see how she goes.

I started an Apfelwein, which is known to smell like Rhino Farts when using the recommended yeast. Tastes great after fully fermented though!
