Fermentation chamber fridge compressor

I just finished building my fermentation chamber with a mini fridge, bug enough to hold 2 6.5 gallon carboys. I'm testing it now, is it normal for the compressor to get hot to the touch, or is it running to much?

Yes, compressors get hot.
