I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction here. I only do 1 gallon batches, and I would really like to be able to do 4 at a time. Is there a mini fridge out there that can handle that? Pictures and links would be fantastic. I just plan on controlling it with an inkbird. Thanks up front guys!

My ~4.4 (4.5?) mini-fridge interior width is right at 17", ~10" deep before the hump. I built a little platform out of scrap wood to raise the floor to even with the hump, and that is probably about 17" square then, more or less - big enough to fit a 7.8g BSG bucket without a problem.

So: maybe. If you have the space, I would look for a chest freezer, since that has the capability to upgrade to a 4-tap keezer later, where my mini fridge is limited to just 2 corny kegs (and barely that).

Thanks for replying! I just saw it, I have no idea how lol. I don't make beer so I'm not worried about the keezer thing. Just wine, mead, and cider. I measured my jugs set in a square and 14"x14"x16" would work great . That's with airlocks instead of blow offs. I didn't find any of the small chest freezers that were cheap, decent reviews, and online. I live in bfe.

I picked one of these 7.1 cubic chest freezers up today at my local Sams Club for $139, They are normally $179 but have an instant $40 savings until March 25. I also do a lot of 1 gallon batches and as you see there is plenty of room to put whatever combination of fermentor sizes in there. Its an Igloo FRF472.

Hey guys, Can any of you give me some advice on a temp controlled ferm chamber. It will be outside in a garage in the summer and winter in northern michigan so It will need to cool and heat. Not sure if I should start with a fridge or freezer, STC 1000 or Ranco,,, kinda lost here.

I use an inkbird you control my temperature. So far it has worked perfectly. Unless your garage is well insulated you will need a freezer that is rated for outdoor use.
