Sorry I know this has been asked before. I read an answer in another thread and the answer wasn't dumbed down enough for me to get it.
I'm doing Richards Pumpkin Ale recipe. I tweaked it a bit by adding maple syrup 5 days into primary,
OG 1.055
G before adding maple syrup 1.008
G after adding maple syrup 1.022
How will I calculate the ABV? Without the maple syrup added I would do the standard 1.055-1.008 x 131 but what with FG after all is done?
