I use an electric blanket to keep my fermentation at a 72-74F temp. Although when I transfer to bottles the blanket wont be a useful due to the akward shape of the boxes. Is it important to keep the beer at the fermentation temperature? Otherwise it will be sitting around 65-66F, and lower with the onset of winter.

Might have to move to Lagers if I could find a stable cold temperature in the basement.
