I'm currently brewing a Wild Hogge Amber Ale type kit and tomorrow will be Day 3 of fermenting. My temp was up to 70 degree when I checked it after work and through some 2 liter frozen ice bottles in the tub and now the temp is showing 60. Is this ok? Or should I try for a little warmer? Just want to make sure I have a nice clean taste.

My IPA is fermenting right now two days into active fermentation and its reading 70deg, my basement is ambient 62-64 and I try to get the wort cooled to that temp before pitching the yeast. Nonetheless I'm fine with it at 70, pitched 2 packs rehydrated 05 into this one so I'm sure at the slightly elevated temp it'll overattenuate but I like my IPA's a little drier as long as the bitterness is balanced. We'll see it may be a redo on this batch but it may not. Had my Citra Pale Ale get up to 72deg with no off flavors or unwanted esters using 05 so hopefully this is the same.
