I have not brewed this yet, looking for some feedback and general guidance
Its a Barley Wine Braggot mix

5 gal batch

3.5 lbs pale malt
3.5 lbs light extract
1.5 lbs CaraMalt
1.5 lbs Dark Munich
6.5 lbs honey
1 oz Kent Goldings @ 60 min
1.5 oz Fuggles @ 60 min
2 oz Willimite @ 30 min
2 oz Kent Goldings @ FO

mash grains at 153 for 60 min
add extract at 30 min
add honey at 10 min

I need a yeast suggestion, something i can use to make a 5 gal batch of a nice bitter or blond as a "starter" and pitch this onto the yeast cake.
Thanks in advance:mug:

I'd probably keep it simple and use a Safale s04.
That's a pretty big recipe. Nothing against liquid yeast though.

You might want to increase the base malts and decrease the honey quite a bit. That is a ton of honey and will ferment out completely, leaving you little flavor and a lot of alcohol without much balance. If you want honey flavor, try some honey malt.

I do think, however, honey would be useful to dry this out a bit and help fermentation.

I can decrease the honey a little, but not to much or it won't be a braggot any more.
