This is going to be a mess. Even though we can't do an official Yahoo draft, we can go into a chat room and do an old-school draft.

Should we re-draft tonight, try to remember our picks, or re-draft after week one?

Try to remember our picks. If that doesn't work, re-draft (fresh) next week. Old-school draft won't work if any individual can't be there, and this is really short notice for folks. Better to lose a week and get it done right, if we can't all remember.

Rod'll have to have time to get the data into Yahoo!'s systems before kickoff for it to count for this week, anyway. Not sure how much of a bi*ch that'll be.

I know Todd doesn't get home until late and neither do I. I'm prepared to start the manual draft at 10 ct and have all the teams loaded by tomorrow afternoon. I know the time will suck for everyone, but it will suck most for me as I have an additional hour or so of work to do after we're done.

For those unable to make it, we'd have to pick the best team possible for them. Any objections?

I emailed everyone via the league tool and posted here. I warned those that were playing that that would be the 2 methods of communication I'd use for the league. I'm sure at least one person will miss, but I don't quite know what else to do.

I can't believe everyone doesn't have a fairly good idea what team they drafted....



However, I am willing to go ahead and draft again, as long as everyone gets their first round pick (or 2) from yesterday. We can do that on the buddy system, I propose.
