Favorite Cider Book?

I've dabbled a bit with cider and mead making and I think I understand the basics enough that I want to read a good book to fill in the gaps in my understanding. I see several books are available commercially so my question is, does anyone have a favorite and/or a reason that one is their favorite?

The Compleat Meadmaker (Schramm) is excellent... Obviously about mead mainly, but does have some info on cider, iirc. Ben Watson's book about cider is pretty good ("Cider: Hard and Sweet", I think)...

It is the bible of cidermaking. Truely a must (pun intended)
Covers making a press, best apples, perry, ice wine
He is an engineer thus very thorough, technical.
More info than I'll ever need, chemistry etc.
Ben's book is great, helped me make good cider first time!
This would be best choice for a beginner.
Annie Proulx book I found lacking imho.

I am currently reading the Cider Maker's Handbook and couldn't agree with the above suggestions more. It was definitely worth the price it took to add it to my library. Now I have to look up the Ben Watson book

Just went to cider summit in chicago and they had a booth for the book. Didn't get a chance to meet the author sadly. Looks like a great book. There is also a really good tasting journal book for $5, handheld and has 33 entries per book. Cool layout and the author was super nice. http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=271356954946
