For Sale Father's Passing: Homebrew Equip. Mega Sale

Hi All,

My father, Vincent Palchanes, was a member of this forum and passed in August due to lung cancer. Homebrewing was the favorite of his hobbies, and one that he took the most pride in. He loved being able to formulate and create something that could bring a smile to everyone's face. So first, I must thank you all for being on here to help him through his process and questions over the years... he managed to build quite an impressive setup with a digital brewing panel and everything.

Unfortunately, towards the end he started buying so much equipment that it's become a real headache to sell it. I am trying to sell most of his equipment to recoup some funds for my mother... Apologies if I do not know much regarding all of the equipment, please open dialogue with me by shooting me a message and I will be happy to grab photos & more information for you.

Some Information:

• All items will be shipping from central New Jersey
• SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE FOR GETTING YOU A QUOTE! I do not have the ability to send PMs until I reach 5 posts [which is hard with no questions to ask ].
• Since these items are at my mother's house, there might be a slight delay for processing & shipping your item out. I stop by there at least 1x a week... will notify you when I can next ship your order.
• If you're somewhat local, I would be willing to drive/meetup for large orders.
• I will be using PirateShip to get labels to ship items out... this will give you the best value for your dollar. If you need a specific shipping company, please let me know. Some of the bigger/bulkier cheap items like carboys etc. might not be worth the shipping cost to you.

Lastly, I have his pride and joy, the digital brewing setup. He built the digital control panel from kit/instructions online. I believe it runs from a 50 amp circuit? Worked great when I was assisting him a few times. Boil Kettle, Hot Liquor Tank, and a Blichmann 15gal double-walled latch lock kettle (I think for wort?) Really am not familiar with all of the ins and outs of this setup, but I know he made some damn good beer with it. Will get some more photos uploaded to the google drive, please msg me with any inquiries. Will include all sorts of tubing, sensors, plugs, etc. and more. Local pickup only.

Also, is the big mouth bubbler plastic? I cannot seem to find one to look at, but if you can include that on a separate pricing I would appreciate it.

Sorry about your Dad and may you always remember the times you brewed together.

I would like to purchase one 3 gallon keg, one 1.5 gallon keg, a used Tilt other than blue or green, and the TC clamps and caps. Maybe the hop spider which is not listed. I will send you a PM.

The panel has selector switches which indicate it is likely 50 amps as they can both be turned on at the same time. I would note that it also has two EZ Boil controllers. Not exactly like my DSPR320's but maybe an earlier version or another model number. It's a nice panel, has an extra PID beyond the four in a row.

I am not familiar with Blichman vessels but there is a HLT and Boil Kettle pictured so the 15 gallon double walled vessel may be a mash tun.

The Hefty bag with the odd fittings you may not have gotten to listing yet are for silver soldering and come from Brewhardware.

The unknown insulated tubing and pump are likely glycol chiller lines.

You might check if @Bobby_M might take some big stuff off your hands (or help shipping/selling). He's in Whitehouse Station and owns a homebrew store. (Possibly where your father shopped?)

I'd love a bunch of the little kegs, but I imagine shipping is a pain.

Thanks Bobby, appreciate it. We always had a great time stopping by the store... it was one of his favorite things to do. He would always ask me to go along with him any time he needed something. I'll give you a ring if I can stop by.
