Morning everyone. I did a farmhouse ale last weekend with some Voss yeast so it's pretty close to being ready. I took a sample yesterday and I think it needs a little something. I'm thinking of adding some orange peel for a few days. Any recommendations or has anyone did a similar recipe? I've had good luck in the past with adding cucumber and vanilla bean, but I don't think either of those additions would be good. Thanks

The downside with those kveik strains is they ferment so aggressively that they are going to blow out a lot of the aromatics you add. You could add orange peel but why not dry hop with more amarillo and some lemon peel?

For some reason i had blood orange on my mind. I did orange peel for a few days, but it didn't really get any of the flavor. It sort of turned in to a pale ale and not a farm ale lol I'm still waiting for it to fully carb up
