I solo'd 4 Tomes in 2 days.... the Stakem of yesteryear is calling myself a pussy for not doing all 4 in one afternoon.

Anyhoo, white cap new batch classic saison purchased from etre with US import logo is straight pink bubblegum. Also, bonbons white cap etre purchase is super grassy, dry and bitter.

The new Sante should be out soon. Fingers crossed when that happens they do a small restock on that BA tequilla sauce

Whelp, there ya have it. New sante up, BA tomer removed.

I have space enough space left for 2 Tomes. Was waiting until the new Sante was released to fill it out.

But that looks dark, and I'm scared...

Edit: Looks like label says Koffie and Peppers...

Fear not, have a lil faith in the master chief.

Its not like reading the ingredient list tells you anything about the liquid itself.

Lets just say I know one of the guys who knights all the knowers into the order of most seriousness.

All ya gotta do is hit a button and somewhere between 3 minutes and 3 hours later - presto serious knowledge granted

I'm there but I fear I might be a Serious Knower in Name Only. SKNO

X-post from Fantôme Serious Knowers so the same dozen or so neckbeards can look at this.

GF's out of town so figured I'd solo dome a Tome. I bought this a while ago and wrote 'mid 2016' on the cap -- educated guess based on delivery date to the shop. I had a few bottles from the same case fresh that were super tropical but very young, so I was curious how this was doing. It's in a bit of an awkward spot and tastes nothing like the other bottles I recall. It is very apple forward, a touch dusty/woody tasting, pretty low carb and a little heavy in terms of mouthfeel, and overall it somehow tastes as young as the other bottles I had roughly a year ago (despite being very different). I think this would have benefitted from some additional aging, but overall it's still enjoyable and I look forward to tasting the second half of the bottle, which will no doubt hold a surprise or two.

In typical fashion the second glass is better than the first, more Tome house character. Still lots of apple and such but it's more "complete". It's been a long time since I've opened a Tome and I feel like I just re-opened Pandora's box. Drinking Fantôme is the equivalent of satisfying a kink you didn't know you had, only to find out that vanilla saisons just don't do it for you anymore.

So I just had a bottle of dark forest ghost volcano my kitchen. Literally the whole ******* bottle emptied itself onto my ceiling with docreight as my witness. Cork did not push out once I removed the cap.

Thanks to kbuzz for the c+s on this one. I was 4 for 4 up until this bottle, but as we all know, it was inevitable. The only bright side was that the glasses were close enough to the eruption that they captured some of the ceiling splash and we at least got to try a sip of the beer. It wasn't bad, but my house kitchen will remind me of the aroma every day for the foreseeable future. See ceiling in pic for reference.

If I shake my head back and forth fast enough, I can still feel the Artist 1 swishing around in my brain.

Just be glad the Forest Ghost didn't shoot up your nostrils.

I literally have Fantome on the brain. Maybe that's why I love Fantome so much? danyP did you do this on purpose?
