It's still early to trade for me. Also I only have a couple of real keepers. I would probably be willing to trade one of my WRs for a second good RB, but you never know this early. I picked up Young from Tennessee because Collins looked so inept and they seem to have given up on Volek and I figured maybe he'll get more playing time soon.

All right – I’ve just looked at the match-ups and since I have Roy Williams on my team...

I’m going to GUARANTEE a victory over the HIGHLY overrated D’Bricks. This one’s going to be over by halftime!

1st quarters of the 1pm games are ove in most cases and no one has scored a single point yet.

hmmmm... something isn't right. I know my Defense got a sack, but no points are refleted yet.

Last week, the stats/scores were updating in real-time, but maybe not this week for some reason?

I was just noticing that, too. Was that like a free trial of StatTracker last week?

yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I remember telling my wife that I couldn't fathom why someone would pay for StatTrack because the damn thing was updating within 2 seconds anyway.

The free trial would make sense.

Well.... sure puts a damper on the trash-talk, not knowing what the score is.

Was it free in week one? I could have sworn we had live stats. I was at a baseball game during the day, but I thought they changed at night and Monday.

Jeeeeez! How about those Bears?!?! Absolutely DESTROYING the Lions

PIRATES SUCK! Bruschi's going to CRUSH YOU!

(I hope, I have no idea how they're doing... I do know Chad Johnson finally got in the end zone, yea!)

I use poor-mans stat tracker: I just watch the ticker during the game, the game-breakers, and the half time reports and guestimate the stats. I have a print out of the matchups and just fill in next to each player thier stats as best I can guess. Unless its really close by sunday night I have a good idea of who's gonna win.

so... without the fancy schmancy stat tracker, when will we actually get updates? When the games are over, or the day is over, or the week (including Mon Night) is over?

Right after I posted, Favre threw for another TD... :D

Notice you weren't quick enough to do a Ninja-quite. Walker wouldn't have let that get by...

Still, Favre's best game in a long time, and they still lose to a pretty crappy team... Favre could be league MVP and they still would have trouble winning six games. But hey, if he'll start getting the ball to Driver in the end zone, I'll root for him all day...

I'm still happy to have Laurence Maroney (man, I've got to learn how to spell his name), but every time the Pats get inside the 5 they bring in Dillon. As a Pats fan, I don't mind - but they're KILLING MORE_BRUSCHI!

What you Favre-haters don't seem to realize is that he is the only player on the offense worth a damn. He still has a better arm than most of the league's QBs.
Yet everyone insists his skills are diminishing.

I'm really tired of hearing that.

See, I have nothing against Favre, and don't disbute he can still be a very good QB. I just disagree with you in terms of the general direction of the team. By the time the REST of the offense has improved, Favre *will* have retired and they'll be scrambling to bring in a QB. I think they - the team - would be better off perhaps sacrificing a win or two this year and trying to develop a young QB. Doesn't have to be Rodgers if he really isn't any good (in which case they blew a pretty high draft pick).

But, if Rodgers isn't the long-term solution, they could have tried to bring in someone halfway decent over the last offseason, if Favre hadn't basically held them hostage with the whole "I'm coming back, no, I'm retiring, OK, I'll come back" song-'n-dance.

I like the Pack, I like seeing them do well, and I like watching Favre - but by the time the other 44 guys are anywhere close to being playoff-caliber, Favre'll be gone and there will be a huge hole at the biggest position.

And yeah, I know - I just don't get it, right? :D

EDIT: Let me add something; Favre can be a very good QB in the right situation, but when he's put in a position where he HAS to be the savior every weak, he tends to struggle. He did well this week, bully for him, glad I'm not matched up against you in FFB this week - but I would be surprised if over the rest of the season, there were more games like this one than games like Week 1.
