False bottom for igloo 10 gal? Recommendation?

I agree. A braid or bazooka tube and batch sparging is a good way to go

When I thought that I wanted to fly sparge I got this.

They sell a 12" too. Not sure how it will fit..


I put a stainless steel scrubbing pad under it at the pick pick up to make sure that I don't get a stuck sparge.

I went back to batch sparging and didn't change back to a braid

Build one from an aluminum pizza pan.

I have a store bought one as well as my homemade one, i can't say either works better.
 
IMO, go to HD or Lowes pick up 5-10 ft. Of CPVC pipe and make your own manifold for 10-15 dollars...I've used mine since I started AG and consistently get 75-80% efficiency...last batch was 81
 
Just get a huge grain bag and use that as the filter. Easy to clean, no hassle, no false bottoms, no anything.
