I am partial to English styles in the fall. I am ordering ESB and porter this week. Pumpkin is in the fermentor right now. Spiced and Old Ale are great for the holidays. Fresh grated orange peel added to a spiced ale is terrific, along with 1/2 teaspoon of each powdered ginger, cinnamon, all spice. 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg &
tablespoon of vanilla extract.

i dont have time to make a strong christmas beer this year so i am doing a gingerbread brown ale. brown ale, low hops with cinnamon, clove, ginger, all spice, nut meg. hope it turns out well.

Colonel That sounds very interesting. Please keep us posted on the out come.

I have my RIS bottle conditioning, Northern English Brown Ale in kegs (really tasty), aging Scottish Ale right now!

Dunkelweizen has become a favorite in the fall time for me.

Just tapped a dry stout and brewed a smoked porter (for winter).
